A classic mid-1960s Omega Automatic wristwatch featuring the highly regarded Calibre 562 automatic movement with 24 jewels, housed in a stainless steel case with reference 162.009.

This example retains its original signed Omega crown and a clean, original signed dial, which presents very well with crisp printing and attractive applied hour markers. A timeless and elegant design that represents Omega’s golden era of automatic movements.

The watch is running at the time of listing. There is no service history, so accuracy and long-term performance cannot be guaranteed. As with all vintage watches, a service is recommended for regular daily wear.

The crystal shows some surface scratches, consistent with age, but remains perfectly usable and does not detract significantly from readability.

Fitted with a stainless steel aftermarket Champion bracelet, which suits the watch well. Lug width is 17mm should you wish to change straps.
