Rolex Oyster Perpetual “Bubbleback” Ref. 4392 – Circa 1945–46

A classic vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Bubbleback, reference 4392, dating to approximately 1945–1946 based on the case and movement numbers. A desirable early automatic Rolex with the characteristic domed “bubble” caseback and original period details.

* Case: Stainless steel Oyster case, 32mm excluding crown. Original screw-down caseback with normal signs of wear consistent with age and careful use. Serial number between the lugs corresponds to mid-1940s production.

* Dial: Original signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual dial in very good vintage condition, showing attractive and even aging. Original luminous Arabic numerals and matching hands.

* Movement: Rolex 18 jewel automatic movement. Recently serviced and running well at the time of listing.

* Crown: Original signed Rolex Oyster crown.

*Crystal: New glass fitted.

* Strap: Fitted with a new aftermarket leather strap and buckle.
