Vintage 1970s Givenchy Silk Chiffon and Lurex Dress

Beautiful dress made from fine silk chiffon in a medium taupe brown color. The chiffon is covered in flocked edged dots that are half filled in with metallic gold lurex threading. These catch the light as you move and give the silk a real sense of movement as the light plays over the metallic bits that almost resemble half full moons. The silhouette is straight with one large ruffle at the hem. The shoulders are lightly padded and there’s ties on one side of the neck. Button closure cuffs and back zipper closure to the dress. Fully lining though the body of the dress and unlined sleeves that are semi sheer. With a 1970s Givenchy Nouvelle Boutique label.
