Description:
Up for sale is a classic Vintage Girard Perregaux Manual Winding Watch from the mid-20th century.
It features a charming silver dial with applied Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock.
A rare feature for this era is the original "GP" signed crown.
The movement is a reliable 17-jewel manual wind caliber, currently running strong.
Condition Report:
• Movement: Running. Tested to run for over 30 hours on a full wind. Accuracy is approximately +1 to +2 minutes per day lying flat (Vintage accuracy, not chronometer tested).
• Dial: Original silver dial with visible patina and aging spots, giving it a true vintage character.
• Case: Chrome plated case with Stainless Steel back. Shows scratches and wear on the plating (especially on the lugs) consistent with age.
• Crown: Original Signed "GP" Crown.
• Crystal: Acrylic crystal with some minor scratches.
• Strap: Aftermarket brown leather strap (Crocodile pattern).
